Born 1955. Autodidact. Has been involved with photography since the early 1970s. Ran the Fotogalleriet in Skruv between 2008 and 2019, with mostly own photographs. Other exhibitors: Gerry Johansson and Lennart Nilsson. The gallery reopened after summer 2022 with my exhibition AVTRYCK. during autumn-winter 2022/23. It was the last exhibition in Skruv before close down.

I have participated in a number of exhibitions over the years. The first at a small gallery in Strömbergshyttan, the so-called Degelkammaren in the early 1980s, where I showed color Cibachrome prints from Bornholm. Even local libraries have shown my photographs. Lilla Galleriet (Photo Gallery) at Torben Krags Galleriet in Växjö, also exhibited some of my pictures in the late 1980s. In 2002, there was a slightly larger exhibition at the Foundry in Tingsryd (which was then a purely art gallery) together with Studioglas Strömbergshyttan. In 2007, an exhibition at the legendary Uffe's Källare in Växjö, and in the same year I received the Forestry and Timber Union's Culture Grant of SEK 5,000. In 2009 I participated at Planket in Gothenburg. 2008-2019 about 10 exhibitions at Fotogalleriet in Skruv, where I also had the privilege of showing some of Gerry Johansson's Sweden pictures. In 2019 I participated with 6 photographs at the Planket exhibition in Stockholm at Lilla Mejtend Gränd next to Vitabergsparken on Söder, and in 2022 with 8 photographs from a mini-project called CONTAINER. 2023 i showed Chemigrams and litg prints at Planket Sthlm. Spring 2023, exhibition at Bergdala Konstgalleri, Autumn 2023 I participated with 23 other photographers at Galleri Sandelin Sthlm, in the exhibition Toy camera 2023. Awarded three times in Tidningen Foto:s Mästartävlan in black and white in the 1990s and early 2000s. A 10-page report with and about my photos in the newspaper Fotosidan Magasin no. 5 -2019 can also be mentioned.

I photograph analog and make my silver gelatin prints myself in a darkroom. Unlike most analog photographers who usually digitize their negatives and then complete the work in the computer and have their images printed using inkjet printers, similar to digital photographers. My color prints though, are from digitized color negative and positive film. But the prints made on accid free photo rag, and with pigment ink. The same as some call "Fine Art Printing" or "Giclé". But my works in black and white, are darkroom craftsmanship from start to finish. All operations and steps must be repeated for each image print. There will be no question of either editions or any major duplication in the darkroom. Some lith prints and lumen/photogram/lithogram are unique. I use acid-free fiber silver gelatin paper with a baryta base and the prints go through a process that ensures long durability and archive resistance, for example two-bath fixing and protective toning that makes the silver more stable. I use traditional black-and-white darkroom craft, but also methods such as lithprinting and some other methods.
